Iron Maiden "Caught Somewhere In Time" posted!!
Ok so we finally got around to posting this track. We recorded it in our rehearsal spot for a Kerrang! Iron Maiden compilation called Maiden Heaven. (Why? because Kerrang! is the most bad ass magazine there is and Iron Maiden is the most bad ass band of all time!) ..
Anyways, there are 2 schools of thought on cover songs. Some people think you should try to make sound exactly like the original. But what fun is there in that? We think that cover songs should be a bands interpretation of that song in their own style to pay hommage and appreciation to the original artist. You simply can not beat the original version so the goal is to reinvent it to the best of your ability and make it your own. So here it is kids .. Go check it out !
By the way we officially start tracking "ATTICS TO EDEN" Sept. 20th... Pardon my french but holy shit are we excited .. Talk soon!!

Hey it's Matthew, I just wanted to write you all a quick note. Sorry we haven't been in touch as per usual, but I'm sure you all know the reason. Our heads are buried in the stars while our arms are swiping at every bit of inspiration and knowledge that we can, so we can apply to making you guys the best possible experience with "Attics".
Once we go to New Jersey to track it, I promise we will be blogging and posting videos so you can experience the whole thing as we do.

Gettin' a lot of emails lately about how some of you are experiencing a difficult time right now.. It brightens our day beyond belief though to hear that what is gettin' you guys through it is our community of River People. You guys are so good and so important to each other and of course us... Keep the unified energy up and keep pickin' up fallen creepers.
Ps. You may wanna study up a bit, as our "Attics" tale may be a brain buster.
